Frequently asked questions

Can I bring my friends?

If your friends are Newcomers in Canada for less than 1 year, please ask them to register as well. We have limited seats!

Are you providing transportation?

Yes, we will have transportation from The Family Education and Support Centre to the Albion Community Centre and back leaving for the dinner at 4:45pm and driving you back at Family Education Center at 22554 Lougheed Hwy., Maple Ridge, BC V2X 2V1 at 8:15pm. Let us know if you need transport.

Will there be entertainment for kids?

While there will be some coloring paper and other kids activities, we do not have organized entertainment for kids. You will have to keep an eye on your little one :)

Shall I register the kids too?

Yes, please. When you register, please, make sure that everyone is registered separately and has their own ticket. We understand that might be boring to do but it is only to ensure we have enough food for everyone.

Do I have to know upfront I will need transportation?

Yes, you need to let us know if you will use the shuttle service provided at the time of your registration.

Do I have to bring something?

Sure. Bring your smile and your good mood.
