On The Other Side of Freedom is a site specific, multimedia exhibition featuring artists Oriana Catton and Stephanie Teng, curated by Beverley Harrison. The show explores the effects of post colonial trauma, displacement and hope’s resilience, in the aftermath of Hong Kong’s 1997 handover to China. It confers transmigration, entangled identities and circumstances, boundaries and freedom’s nuances through sculptural and spatial performative acts of decolonisation.
