Overview:
Have you ever noticed how, at times, the more we protect ourselves, the more we feel distant from others and even from our own hearts? Our vulnerabilities, though often seen as weaknesses, are the gateways to deeper connection, both with ourselves and with those around us. This breathwork workshop is dedicated to opening the heart, to embrace the raw beauty of vulnerability without fear or judgment.
In this safe, nurturing space, we will explore how breath can help us soften the armor we’ve built around our hearts. Through somatic breathwork, you’ll be guided to gently release the tension, fears, and stored emotions that block the flow of love, compassion, and self-acceptance. The heart, when fully open, becomes a source of profound healing, connection, and inner peace.
Marie, your facilitator, will guide you through a combination of breathwork, intuitive movement, mindfulness, and gentle somatic practices designed to open the heart center and reconnect you with your emotional truth. You will be invited to move beyond your comfort zone, allowing the breath to melt away resistance and open you to your authentic self. This workshop will support you in releasing shame, embracing vulnerability, and stepping into a space of deeper emotional freedom.
What to Expect:
- A welcoming, safe space where you can explore your emotional world with compassion and courage.
- Somatic breathwork to activate the heart center and release emotions held in the body.
- Intuitive movement to help you feel into your body and align with your inner truths.
- Guided inspired exercice to create presence and open you to the wisdom of your body (I'll keep the surprise).
- A deep sense of relaxation and emotional clarity, leaving you feeling lighter, more grounded, and more connected to your heart.
At the beginning of the session, we will take time to explore the role of vulnerability in emotional healing and prepare yourself for the breathwork practice. Marie will walk you through the technique, so you’ll know exactly what to expect and how to adapt it to your body’s needs. There will be plenty of space for questions and for you to check in with yourself before we begin the 75-minute breathing session. There is NO CONTRAINDICATIONS to the practice. The facilitator will suggest two types of breathing depending of your medical condition.
Afterward, we will close with a time for sharing. This experience will leave you with tools for emotional resilience, a clearer connection to your inner self, and a heart that is more open and receptive to love—both for yourself and for others.

You also need to arrive NO EARLIER than 2:45 PM. You will be asked to sign up and get yourself comfortable in the studio. The session will start promptly at 3:00 PM and will end at 6:00 PM.
✨ For the session, you will need a yoga mat and a small pillow. Comfortable clothes, an eye cover, a blanket, a notebook and a bottle of water could also enhance your experience.
Meet your facilitator:
Marie is a conscious and connected breathing facilitator, somatic coach, teacher and counsellor. She is passionate about human relationships, personal development, nature, and she is addicted to backpacking trips. Her studies as a teacher in special education, as well as in social work, allow her to combine the help, creativity and dedication needed in those fields into her work as a breathwork facilitator. It was after having experienced multiple concussions that she discovered the power of breathwork, then somatic work, in order to help her regulate her nervous system and free herself from the stress stored in her body. She is now starting a mission to share the power of these two modalities which serve her so much on a daily basis. She offers personalized breathwork sessions, group sessions, somatic coaching and counseling sessions. Marie has completed a 400 hour course as a breathwork facilitator with Essence du Souffle. Her school is registered by the Global Profsessionnal Breathwork Alliance (GPBA) and the International Breathwork Foundation (IBF).

What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is a powerful internal transformation tool. It acts like an alternative medicine on the body and the mind. It allows you to overcome the emotional blockages of yesterday, tomorrow, and today. Certain emotions are often repressed, consciously or not, and they remain trapped in the body in the form of undesirable sensations or energy. This has harmful effects on our quality of life because the body constantly aspires to release these charges. The breath therefore makes it possible to reconnect, in complete safety, with these charges, by accepting them, transforming them, or releasing them. May future generations have access to this transformational tool!
