This in-person workshop is designed for parents who have children with special needs or disabilities that will be starting kindergarten for the first time in September 2025.

Parents will attend sessions presented by TVCC's Parent Mentors, All Kids Belong (AKB), and Special Education staff from the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) and the London District Catholic School Board (LDCSB) that will explore:

•Introducing your child to the school and staff

•Communicating with your school team

•The kindergarten day

•Roles and supports within Special Education

• Positive advocacy and troubleshooting.

There will be opportunities for questions and networking throughout the workshop

This is a partnership program with AKB, TVDSB, LDCSB.
