This session is only open to past participants. You must have attended the Introduction to Belonging with Natalie Royer on PD Day 5 to attend this event.

This session will expand on the initial discussion of Belonging from Heartwork PD 5 on May 10th, and will provide participants with a deeper exploration of the concept. Attendees will engage in reflective exercises and scenarios to learn how to apply these tools in their lives and practices.

Doors open at 6 pm. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Natalie Royer, a keynote speaker, facilitator, and coach at Saroy Group Inc., has an M.A. from Toronto Metropolitan University, a Certificate in Psychological Health and Safety from York University, and has completed mentorship programs at the Schulich School of Business. She bridges the gap between diversity and inclusion by offering practical belonging frameworks and empowering leaders and teams to foster empathetic and inclusive workplaces with her compassionate and insightful guidance.

The Chatham-Kent Heartwork Committee is made up of representatives of Early Years Professionals across Chatham-Kent. The Chatham-Kent Heartwork Committee Mandate is to support Chatham-Kent professional learning and development opportunities that build the capacity of Early Years Professionals, to ensure the provision of high-quality programs for children 0-12 years. This mandate is supported by offering workshops, events, podcasts, and other resources as free opportunities for all professionals working with children in Chatham-Kent early years settings.
