Children and families are invited to join Hamilton based illustrator Kento Cady to make patterns and designs using relief printing techniques. Shop less by creating your own wrapping paper, cards, and messages for the holiday season using simple printmaking techniques. Come explore the artsy side of DIY with us, and take home prints made by yourself and other workshop participants. All materials provided.

GETTING HERE
WAHC's address is 51 Stuart Street, Hamilton, ON, L8L 1B5. Located in the historic Custom House beside Hamilton’s West Harbour GO station, you can get here easily on the Lakeshore West line via GO transit. Hamilton’s HSR bus lines and Sobi bicycle share options are also available nearby. You will find free parking on both sides of Stuart Street and in the nearby West Harbour GO parking lot. Our main entrance is now the east-side door. Look for our accessible entrance with the ramp!
ACCESSIBILITY
WAHC is physically accessible for those who use mobility aids. All building floors are accessible via the elevator. Two gender neutral bathrooms in the basement have a physically accessible stall. FOOD
No food or drink is provided during Second Saturday programs, but you are welcome to bring a water bottle and small snack to nourish yourself and those you care for, during the event.
CLOTHING
Wear clothing that you don't mind getting ink on, or bring an apron to cover your clothes.
MASKING
Masks are still required in all indoor areas of the Custom House. We will have free disposable masks available at the front door for those that need them.
