Approaches to peer review are evolving, with the focus shifting towards greater transparency, efficiency, and collaboration. The Public Knowledge Project (PKP) is pleased to invite you to a Peer Review Week webinar to learn about how Open Journal Systems (OJS) is adapting to these changes.
Erik Hanson, PKP Systems Developer, and Devika Goel, PKP UX/UI designer will share information on the following topics:
Planning and Brainstorming Insights: Explore the ideas and insights on open peer review discussed during our recent sprint in Minnesota.
Upcoming Developments: Hear about features and enhancements coming to OJS, including:
- A new dashboard look-and-feel for reviewers which takes an action-oriented approach
- A new process for inviting reviewers and other users to contribute to a journal
- An improved process for editors to manage peer review in the submission dashboard
Community Engagement Opportunities: Learn how you can actively participate in the development process through our community forum. We’ll discuss how your feedback and collaboration can drive meaningful improvements and shape the future of our software.
This webinar will be recorded and shared with the public. The hosts will disable microphones and video screens, and there will be opportunities for questions and comments.
