    Come hear V. Peter Harder, Head of the federal Liberal Government's transition team in conversation with Mel Cappe. Mr. Harder's presentation will cover: pre-election planning, the role and purpose of a transition team, the processes at play in selecting key appointments, as well as other elements associated with the handover if power from one Prime Minister to another.

    About V. Peter Harder
    Peter Harder is currently Senior Policy Advisor to Dentons Canada LLP. Prior to joining Dentons, Peter was one of Canada's longest serving Deputy Ministers. He served in a number of federal departments including: Treasury Board, Solicitor General, Citizenship and Immigration, Industry and Foreign Affairs and International Trade. Peter has also acted as Personal Representative of the Prime Minister (Sherpa) to three G8 Summits (Sea Island, Gleneagles and St. Petersburg).
