Workshop Description:
Discover the art of felting in this hands-on workshop designed for both beginners and those looking to refine their skills. Felting is a versatile, meditative process of transforming wool into beautiful, solid forms through techniques such as needle felting and wet felting. Participants will learn to handle felt material to create unique 3D forms, using various tools and techniques to build textures and shapes. Guided by Laleh Javaheri this workshop inspires creativity, equipping participants with the skills to make a personalized piece to take home and continue their felting journey.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand Felting Basics:
Learn about the fundamentals of felting, including the differences between needle felting and wet felting techniques.

Learn the process of felting, and apply effective techniques to enhance durability, form, and detailing.
- Create Felted Textures and Shapes:
Manipulate wool to create shapes, textures, and layers, developing skills to create pieces such as 3D wearable accessories, or decorative items.
