Featuring:

  • Ruby Moon is a burlesque performer based out of Guelph, and a founding member of the Femmes Rebelles. She has graced stages around the world with her elegant and captivating stage presence, most recently in Vancouver, Stockholm, Rome, Las Vegas, and Bruges. Ruby will be performing a classical silk fan dance inspired by the goldfish from the film Fantasia.
    -
  • Andrew Jacob Rinehart (he/they) is an interdisciplinary artist, musick educator, and harp player who explores physical properties of sound and musick as an active, spontaneous, social process. Lately Andrew feels uncertain about what exactly he is doing, but he’s am interested in building deeper relationships--with the plants and animals, with the land and water, with myself, and my community. For Pinch Andrew will be playing his harp and sharing stories about things learnt from their garden, or something.
    -
  • hinprov is Canada's first bilingual improv community that performs and trains folks to express themselves without barriers of language. Bringing artists of color to the stages in North America, hinprov has performed their Improvised Bollywood Shows at Blockbuster Weeks, Vancouver Improv Festival, Mississauga Fringe Festival, and recently, Detroit Improv Festival. For Pinch they’ll take your favourite Hollywood film, and improvise a Bollywood version to make it more spicy, zany and add a little dance and music.
    -
  • Singer-songwriter, Musician and Entertainer Will Gillespie writes and plays in a variety of timeless, classic musical styles from Folk to Jazz, Blues to Rockabilly, Bluegrass, Swing, Cabaret, Waltzes and more! From whimsical ditties to heart-breaking ballads to foot-stomping rockers, all played in his own unique, timeless, classic, snazzy, jazzy way.
    -
  • Gada Jane is a Psychic-Intuitive who can read any person, ANYWHERE! Her day job is helping people understand themselves and their relationships through readings and unblock their creative processes through intuitive practice, but she is also a writer and performer. What ties all of this together is a fascination with the complexities of people and their lives. She will be performing a fusion of psychic readings and storytelling at Pinch Cabaret.
    -
  • Sophie Gagnon (they/them) is a human being who sometimes makes cool things with their hands! With the help of water and pigment, they create watercolour paintings that will make you go Woah, that funky and fun. Taking inspiration from good old Mother Nature, they make art full of soothing playfulness. Enjoy their colourful watercolour exhibition at this month’s Pinch Cabaret.
