Join us for an evening of snowshoeing under our beautiful Grandmother Moon! We welcome everyone from all ages and backgrounds to connect, share stories and create lasting memories under the glow of the night sky. Guided by our incredible Elders and Knowledge Carriers, this event offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and learn traditional teachings about the moon and wintertime. Bring your snowshoes and headlamps and embrace the spirit of unity and respect for nature as we celebrate our shared connection to the land and each other.


Donations from ticket sales will be going toward child and youth programming.

What should I wear to the event?

Participants are encouraged to dress in warm, layered clothing suitable for winter weather. Waterproof boots, insulated jackets, hats, gloves, and scarves are recommended.

Is the event family-friendly?

Yes! The event is designed for all ages, with activities and programming suitable for families and children.

Is the event dog-friendly?

As much as we love our furry friends, this event is not dog friendly. While this event is not open to pets, service dogs are welcome. Please ensure your service dog is clearly marked and adheres to any necessary guidelines. Woliwon, thank you, for your understanding!

Will food and drinks be provided?

We will have hot beverages and light snacks while supplies last.

Are there any cultural activities planned?

Absolutely! The event will feature traditional Indigenous storytelling, teachings and opportunities to participate in ceremonies.

Yes you will need to present either a physical ticket (print out) or a digital ticket to a member of staff.
