About this event

This class happens over 3 Thursdays and is designed for people looking to begin their journey throwing pottery on the wheel or for people looking for a one time experience that is more comprehensive than the 3 hour experience. Over three days you will be introduced to the basics of throwing clay.

Here at Makers we have designed a program where class size is kept small (3 people) to allow for focused learning and one that allows you to learn and advance at your own pace. This class is Step 1 of How to Learn the Wheel at Makers. Upon completion of this class sign up for Step 2 of how to learn the wheel at makers: Focus on Fundamentals. In order for your journey to be effective it is recommended you sign up for Focus on Fundamentals within 2 weeks of completing this class.

Return in three weeks to pick up your two kiln fired and functional pieces of pottery.

All supplies are included. Please wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting dirty, tie back any long hair and trim nails.
