This is Step 2 of How to Learn the Wheel at Makers. See attached image detailing how to learn the wheel at Makers. It is also for people who have experience in throwing and are looking to get back into it and join our community studio.
During this 2.5 hour class you will complete a guided walk-though of wedging, centering , making a cylind, opening clay on the wheel and raising the wall. You will then complete timed drills and be asked to repeat the process.This class is designed to commit wedging, centering, making a cylinder and opening clay to motor memory so you can return and practice at your own leisure until you are consistent and ready to move forward with developing your shaping and pulling skills.
Completion of this class allows you access to our practice clay to use until you are ready to purchase your own clay and learn Pulling & Shaping (Step 3 of how to learn the wheel at Makers)

COST: Pay for the class at the studio the day of the class.
Members: $30 plus tax
Nonmembers: $40 plus tax (additional $10 studio fee)
