Public Water and Public Bank Financing Conference, Mexico City

Three Days: November 18, 19, and 20

Join us for a conference on “Public Water and Public Bank Financing”. We will be celebrating the launch of a Special Issue of Ola Financiera, featuring research conducted by the Municipal Services Project and translated into Spanish, including studies on Mexico, Argentina, and Costa Rica.

The Conference aims to widen and deepen cooperation between networks of researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and scholars. We are united by the objective of furthering the universal provisioning of high-quality public water services for all (SDG 6) through the dissemination of scholarly research and critical policy engagement.

Academics, policymakers, members of social collectives, as well as private and public entities dedicated to the financing and provisioning of universal clean water will come together to offer a diversity of perspectives, experiences, and proposals. Through such collaboration, the Conference aims to better understand and tackle the challenges and opportunities in the path towards universal access to clean water for all.
