Can I bring my dog?

Service dogs only please!

Can I bring a stroller?

Accepted Answer

We suggest no strollers but it's up to you. The event area isn't very big and you might find it is easier to bring your child in a carrier.

Question 4

My child is allergic to nuts, will this be a problem?

Accepted Answer

We have walnut trees on our property and there may be walnuts on the ground. Depending on the severity of your child's allergy, you may want to skip this event.

What happens if it rains?

Accepted Answer

This event is a rain or shine event. Please dress for the cold, the drizzle, or any other weather we might experience in October!

Should we wear costumes?

Accepted Answer

Well...you don't have to wear a costume but we love having an excuse to dress up! We will certainly be in costume and we invite anyone else who loves to dress up to embrace the season also!

Do I need to worry about ticks and bugs?

Accepted Answer

In October most of the mosquitos are done for the season. Ticks, however, are active all year round in Halton Region. While our event keeps you on mowed pathways, you are welcome to use bug spray if you are concerned about ticks.

Is the walking path muddy?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the weather, the pathway could be muddy. Rainboots are a great foodwear choice for the farm just in case.

Will there be fresh produce for sale?

Accepted Answer

In October we have limited produce for sale, but yes! We will have our produce stand open at check-in and as you leave if you wish to make purchases from our farm stand.

My child is frightened of things that are really scary. Is this event really scary?

Accepted Answer

We have created a section that is for people who enjoy a bit of spookiness that is easy to avoid. 8/10 displays are beautiful, interesting arts displays that celebrate pumpkins without scariness.
