✨ Join us for Queer Muslim Network's 4-Year Anniversary Celebration! ✨

📍 Location: George Chuvalo Neighbourhood Centre (GCNC)

📅 Date: Saturday, November 16th, 2024

⏰ Time: 6:00-9:30 PM

You’re invited for a panel discussion and social event featuring Ghada Sasa, Beth Kotierk, and Elise Joseph to celebrate four years of Queer Muslim resilience, advocacy, and community-building. Through personal story-telling and connection, we hope to create a broader conversation about community care and organizer burnout. While living in constant grief, it can feel wrong to celebrate milestones - this event intends to hold space for the challenges our community is facing and discuss ways to find resilience and joy through it all. Our panelists will share their personal experiences, insights, and stories in order to weave together a deeper understanding of the Queer & Trans Muslim experience.

🎟️ Tickets are PWYC / $5 per person, with all proceeds supporting our upcoming Ramadan initiatives, serving over 250 LGBTQ+ Muslims across Toronto & Ottawa. If you can’t attend but would still like to support, donations can be made on Eventbrite.

We want to make this event as accessible as possible for our community. If you are not able to afford a ticket, send an email to info@queermuslimnetwork.com, and we will add you to our list! We strive to make our events as barrier free as possible.

A sincere thank you to our funder @frontlinestoronto for making this event happen.
