About this event
East of 60 are proud to present our fall show for 2024. Please note, when you book your ticket, you pick your table number and seat number. At the event, there are no seat numbers on the tables, table seating is first come first served. Seat numbers on the ticket website are just for admin purposes.
Our fall dinner theatre will present a selection of one act plays, all short and snappy, each with a different cast.
Canker Sores and other Distractions by Christopher Durang
– A man and woman, previously married, try to reconcile over dinner but a canker sore and a talkative waitress ruin everything.
Inaccurate Conceptions by Sharon Reichert
– Joe wants to spend a relaxing evening hanging out with his friends. Angela wants to always be the center of attention. Lisa wants to know when Owen is going to be honest with Angela. Owen just wants to figure out who Diana and Larry are and why their relationship issues have everyone yelling at him.
A Blooming of Ivy by Garry Williams
– A heartwarming story about Ivy and George, lifelong friends and neighbours who one day realize there may be more to their relationship than meets the eye.
Boise, Idaho by Sean Michael Welch
– The narrator of a story dutifully chronicles the meeting of a couple at a small café, only to start losing control of her characters once they realize she exists. Blending the lines between fiction and truth, this hilarious play examines what should triumph: reality or a good story.
Crimson Cap Ladies Mardis Gras Madness by Chris McKerracher
The Crimson Cap Ladies wind up at the Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans and set out to earn beads which were being thrown to the crowd. There is much discussion when they learn how they are expected to get beads thrown their way. Things get crazy when Mrs. Garnet, The Crimson Cap Regional Supervisor catches them in the act
