Join us for an empowering workshop, Raising Our Voices: Developing Our Narratives and Overcoming Obstacles (Poetry and Storytelling), led by Jer Allison.

Jer (she/her) is a queer trans woman and multidisciplinary artist whose work focuses on the power of storytelling and poetry to reclaim space and amplify marginalized voices. In this workshop, Jer will guide you through the process of crafting and sharing your stories, helping you navigate the challenges of taking up space, finding your creative voice, and constructing your narrative.

• The struggle to take up space and share our voices

• The journey of finding and expressing your creative voice

• How to turn personal experiences into impactful stories

• The importance of valuing our creative contributions

• Ways to share your stories within your community and beyond
