THIS MONTH'S TOPIC:
Using System Reliability Analysis to Strategize for Reliability Revitalization Strategy
PRESENTER:
Shoaib Khan, Reliability Engineer at Interpipeline
ABSTRACT:
Case study in using System Reliability analysis (also popular as RAM modelling) to develop a targeted reliability revitalization approach by assessing system performance, identifying critical failure points, and prioritizing areas for improvement.
The study utilizes real equipment reliability data, anticipated customer demand, and known system constraints to simulate the performance of the integrated system. The outcome of the study supports business decisions on system capacity commitments and opportunities for potential future investments in unlocking business value. Some related concepts touched on are Asset criticality, RCM and maintenance strategy.
