Reflection on Lives & Times in PEC Listening Party

For Flashback February come join us for a special afternoon presentation at the Macaulay Church Museum for a Listening Party where we reflect on the lives and times in Prince Edward County. Dive into the rich history of this beautiful region through stories, and shared experiences.

Our Project Coordinator, Peter Lockyer, has been working over the past year with our research team to uncover over 20 stories that have never been on the radio before. Five of our researchers will select one story each, tell you why they chose that one , how they turned it into a new radio vignette and then you'll get to hear the audio. This is a sneak preview of our new series of 20+ stories that will be launching on the radio station. There will be ample chance for Q&A and socializing after the presentations. We'll have listening stations set up so that you can listen to more of the stories at your leisure.

Beverages and light food is included. As well, everyone is entered to win our grand prize a “Terrain Map County Map” valued at $250. Don't miss out on this chance to immerse yourself in the cultural tapestry of PEC! Special thank you to The County Museums for making this event possible.

The radio series “Reflections on Lives & Times in PEC" is funded by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.
