The Sandown Centre for Regenerative Agriculture is offering a 5-part series to help you increase your productivity in the home garden. Join us in person to get your hands in the dirt, learn how to build healthy soil, support your garden ecosystem, and grow delicious, nutrient dense vegetables!

Sign up for the series to receive 10% off plus a complementary Zoom session and access to the garden space to practice your skills and grow veggies to take home.

Zoom Session: Monday, April 14th, 5:00pm - 6:00pm:

Site tour, intro to vegetables, seed starting, watering techniques

Session 2: Monday, May 26th, 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Healthy soil (amendments and fertility), bed prep

Session 3: Monday, June 30th, 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Garden design, irrigation, vertical growing (trellising), companion planting, succession planting

Session 4: Monday, July 28th, 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Composting, soil food web, pests and disease, winter growing

Session 5: Monday, August 25th, 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Harvesting, storing vegetables, series wrap-up

Will you provide the necessary tools?

Yes! We will provide you with everything you need to succeed in the garden.

Can I sign up for just one of the sessions?

Yes! Please go to our main Eventbrite page to register for individual sessions for $75 each

Is it wheelchair accessible?

Sandown offers a flat, tamped pea-gravel entryway, a wheelchair accessible raised bed, and a wheelchair accessible porta potty, however some areas of the garden have grass and wood chip paths.

I've never gardened before, is that okay?

This program is open to all levels of growing experience!

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is street parking available directly outside the garden area.
