She has won three WCMAs for Songwriter of the Year, two WCMAs for Album of the Year, one for Blues Artist of the Year, and has been nominated for JUNO and Canadian Folk Music Awards. Romi has toured Canada, the United States, and Europe sharing the stage with Levon Helm, Derek Trucks, Ricky Skaggs, and John Hiatt.
