Explore Duffins Creek and discover the adventures of salmon and their incredible journey at this fun, family-friendly nature walk! Learn all about salmon life cycle, migration, and ongoing restoration efforts, on this guided nature walk as we search for salmon swimming upstream during the fall salmon run!

Event Details

Date and Time: Sunday, September 29 | 10:00am to 12:00pm

Location: Greenwood Discover Pavilion. Please meet your leader at the parking lot near the pavilion.

Cancellation Policy: The event will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled if there is a greater than 70% chance of thunderstorm or other hazardous weather. Registrations will be emailed by 8:00am on the morning of the event if there is a cancellation.

Be Prepared:

  • Please dress appropriately for the weather. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen!
  • Comfortable, close-toed shoes for the short walk are highly recommended.
  • Public bathrooms are limited on site. Please come prepared.
  • Bring a personal water bottle and snacks, if needed.
