About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours 30 minutes

Are you ready for another after-hours Pride pop-up at Felice?! Our end of Pride Month meet-up will be focused on a Sapphic* storytelling session.

This mixer is meant to connect with new friends but also to share our stories about Pride and Sapphic+ life in Edmonton. We plan to have laid back chats about things like identity, representation, culture, love and the struggles and triumphs of living Queer in Alberta, while embracing discussions about issues surrounding intersectionality, visibility, politics and all the varied experiences that define us. We will be sharing these tales in small groups using prompts. Part low-key writing workshop, part storytelling adventure and an all fun mixer experience! Attendees can optionally share their writing on the mic, or have a volunteer read it for them if they'd like to. We hope to channel the joy and resiliency of Pride month into getting through the rest of 2024. Sign-in at the welcome table by the door, name and pronoun tags are opt-in.

FREE REGISTRATION REQUIRED - Each ticket reservation will include a bonus writing bundle to help inspire and collect your thoughts
