About the Community Caravan: The Community Caravan Program is a transformative initiative aimed at fostering connections and a sense of belonging for individuals who have experienced homelessness in the Kelowna community. Social isolation is a profound challenge for those overcoming homelessness, and meaningful relationships are crucial for mental health, well-being, and sustainable housing outcomes.

Our program offers essential transportation and coordinated programming to residents of the Trailside Transitional Housing Program. Participants will have access to a diverse weekly calendar of community events, including exercise classes, cultural activities, support groups, and local clubs.

We are seeking support to fund a van that will facilitate transportation to these enriching events, while our dedicated staff ensures a supportive and comfortable experience for all clients. By helping individuals build lasting community connections, we empower them to maintain these relationships as they transition to permanent housing.

Join us in delivering this life-changing program and making a lasting impact on the journey from homelessness to housing stability.

About Turning Points Collaborative Society: Turning Points Collaborative Society provides outreach, shelter services, and various housing options for vulnerable people experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, homelessness in the Okanagan. We also offer employment programs, addictions recovery programs, and affordable housing options. We believe in the inherent dignity of the people we serve and seek to support them as the experts in their own lives.

Our Mission: To achieve safe and sustainable housing in our communities by providing a continuum of housing, promoting health, and offering community outreach, employment, and addiction services.

Our Vision: Building community; Strengthening people.
