Search for the Lost Items! (Cleaning up)

Join us on NCC’s Northern Corridor conservation site to remove garbage (wood planks, tires, cans, etc.) from the forest and help restore habitat for plant and animal species.

Meeting time in Gatineau for carpooling : 7:45 a.m.

Activity time : 9:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (activity could end earlier)

About this event:

• Must be 14 years or older.
• Moderate fitness level is required.
• There are no toilets on site.
• All tools will be supplied by NCC.
• Snacks will be provided.

Equipment to bring with you

• backpack or day pack 
• work gloves (provided if needed) 
• 1 to 2 litres of water in a reusable bottle  
• sunscreen & mosquito repellent 
• long pants, long-sleeved shirt and a hat 
• hiking boots or closed-toed, sturdy walking shoes 
• rain gear (just in case) 
• lunch 

• any necessary medications
