Join seed saver Silvana Castillo for an enlightening workshop about how to save your precious seeds for next years’ crop. A great follow up to the spring session, Silvana will demonstrate how to process tomato seeds, how to harvest and clean your seeds, speak about seed longevity and the importance of saving your own seeds. An empowering workshop and a great step towards food sovereignty!

When: Tuesday September 16th

Time: 2-3pm

Free to seniors and youth/ “Pay it Forward” welcome

***Please note that while these programs are free to seniors (see below for funding support) we do encourage anyone feeling generous to choose the "Pay it forward" option. These funds will help secure more free programs to seniors in the future. Look for the "Pay it forward" button on the ticket menu. Thank you!

With help from the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program, Tatamagouche Centre is pleased to offer the Rooting & Connecting Isolated Seniors part 2. Free to all seniors (aged 55+) these sessions will offer various workshops centred around health. To see other workshops visit the Programs and Events page on our website.
