About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Celebrate Canada’s Seniors’ Day with us as we honor our Latino seniors in a fun and culturally enriching workshop. Join Mariana Caceres as she leads participants through the art and meaning of the Aztec mandala, offering a special chance to connect with this ancient symbol of unity and balance.

Along with the workshop, enjoy traditional Latin American snacks in a warm and welcoming environment. The event will also include meaningful discussions on healthy aging, celebrating the wisdom and legacy of our elders.

Latin American Heritage Month (LAHM) Festival is an annual celebration in Vancouver that highlights the rich cultural diversity, traditions, and contributions of Latin American communities. Organized by Latincouver, a non-profit that connects Latin American and Canadian cultures, the festival runs from the middle of October to the beginning of November and features a variety of activities, including music, dance performances, film screenings, art exhibitions, and culinary experiences.
