Welcome to Simcoe-Muskoka Ecstatic Dance ! Join us at St Paul's Centre for an evening of freeform movement and expression. Let the music guide you as you dance your heart out in a safe and welcoming space. No experience necessary - just come as you are and let yourself be carried away by the rhythm. Connect with others through movement and feel the energy of the community around you. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just looking to try something new, this event is for everyone. Come and dance your worries away with us!


This is part 2 of a 2 part session on the last friday of every month. The first part is a more healing, restorative and meditative session that is followed by collective discussion. Frequently asked questions

What should I bring?

- Comfortable clothes and shoes (optional) - water bottle - journal +pen, if desired - open heart and mind :)

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes - ideally with layers to wear warmer clothes for stillness times and less for higher movement times - comfortable shoes

Do I need to be good at dancing for ecstatic dance?

Ecstatic dance is about you moving the way you feel called to move and in whatever way feels right for you. This is meant to be an experience free from judgement or expectations. There is no right or wrong (while respecting those around you) and all are welcome.

What is the event that is happening before this for connection and how can I get tickets?

Before the ecstatic dance event there is a collective, meditative, healing session that finishes off with group discussion.
