Simple Soup Series: Potato, Leek & Bacon

Classes at the 1909 Culinary Academy combine a hands-on cooking experience with delicious tasting experiences.

Join us for a midweek culinary experience: the Simple Soup Series. We've taken our usual three hour class and trimmed it down to focus on one specific recipe.

In this culinary event, we'll work in groups to prepare one of our signature soups. Today, it's a Potato, Leek & Bacon. The savory flavors of pureed creamy potatoes, leeks, celery, bacon, herbs, and broth combine for an irresistible bowl of whole-food goodness. We'll pair this soup with a batch of homemade Cheddar biscuits.

Once our soup and rice is ready, we'll sit down together to enjoy this dish that will become a staple in your own kitchen.

Sometimes we have leftovers. Please bring your own reusable containers and water bottle to help us reduce the use of single use plastics.
