Welcome to the Souk To Table Launch Event with author and food blogger Amina Al-Saigh! Join us at Venture X (Etobicoke) for an unforgettable evening celebrating middle eastern food, culture, and community. Bring your family and friends and enjoy canapes and drinks from the cookbook, a meet & greet and book signing, as well as a fireside chat with Amina.

Ticket prices will count towards the purchase of a cookbook if you'd like to purchase one at the event, or bring your own copies for Amina to sign.

About the Author:

Amina Al-Saigh is the founder of the popular Middle Eastern food blog Hungry Paprikas, which she created to document authentic Middle Eastern recipes from her family. She is Iraqi-Canadian, a mother of two and holds a Masters Degree in Engineering, having spent 10 years working in the industry. She transitioned to being an entrepreneur and recipe developer in order to continue on her mission of showcasing the diversity of Middle Eastern food. She is passionate about perfectly tested recipes that are approachable and easy for the busy, modern home.

Can I purchase a cookbook at the event?

Cookbooks will be available to purchase at the event, and the $10 ticket may be used towards the price of the cookbook. You are not obligated to buy a cookbook, and you can bring your own copy for Amina to sign.

Is there parking available?

Paid underground parking is available. There is also free parking at the GO station just outside the door. You will receive an email before the event with detailed instructions on how to access parking and the venue entrance.

Can I bring children to this event?

This is an adult only event.
