Are you in agriculture and ready to confidently share your story? Effective communication is key, especially when questions or misconceptions about food production arise. This workshop, presented by BC Agriculture Council, empowers farmers, ranchers, industry reps, and researchers to speak transparently and authentically about how we produce food in Canada.
About the Workshop:
The Speak Up! workshop offers valuable insights into how Canadian consumers view farming and food. You'll learn to communicate your story in a relatable and compelling way, handle challenging topics, and build trust with the public. This training is ideal for preparing for media interviews, farm tours, council meetings, and other community settings.

Meet Clinton Monchuk
Clinton grew up on a mixed dairy, beef, and grain farm in Lanigan, Saskatchewan. With a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Saskatchewan and an MBA in Agriculture from the University of Guelph, he’s held roles across North America as a researcher, educator, economist, and trade policy director. As Executive Director of Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan, Clinton is passionate about building public trust in agriculture and actively engages consumers to share their stories of farming and ranching. Clinton and his family continue to be active partners on their grain and layer farm in Saskatchewan and cattle ranch in Oklahoma.
