Welcome to Step and Stretch!

Come join us for a fun and energizing event where we'll focus on stretching and stepping to great music. It's a fantastic way to get moving, improve your mindfulness, and have a blast with others.

Frequently asked questions

How much consists of yoga?

We aim for 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after the dance lesson. It could be less depending on what we are learning in the dance portion of the class.

How much time consists of the dance lesson?

We aim for 30 minutes. It could be more, depending if there are new students in the class. We want to cater to the enjoyment of the students!

What do you learn in the lesson?

This class was made to focus on TIMING. Each class will look different, depending on the knowledge of the students. We want to dance "on time" to one salsa-based skill and repeat the skill from slow..to moderate..to fast music in a 30 minute period. This way, we are confident in our dancing.

Do I need to bring a yoga mat?

Yes and no. If you have one, bring one. If you don't, just text 905-512-1920 and I will ensure we provide one for you (a day's notice is recommended).
