Calling all young nature lovers! Cozy up with us at Upstart & Crow on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 9:30 a.m. for a special storytime with celebrated author and activist, David Suzuki, in partnership with the False Creek Friends.

At this special event, Suzuki will read from his latest children's book, Bompa's Insect Expedition (Greystone Books). Then you will be invited to join him along with volunteers from the False Creek Friends for a short nature expedition around Granville Island. This will happen rain or shine, so please bring rain gear built for questing!

This event is suitable for children ages 4 to 8. There are two ticket options:
-- $30 for a book and ticket (one ticket admits one adult and one child). 15 available.
-- No book, by donation ticket (one ticket admits one adult and one child). 10 available.

Please only reserve ONE ticket per two people (includes one adult, one child). Thank you!

If your option of choice is sold out, please let us know you'd like to be added to the waitlist by emailing us.

Donations support our non-profit programming and help us run more events like these. Thank you to False Creek Friends for partnering with us on this event.
