About this event

This training is being hosted by the Regional Domestic Violence Unit (RDVU) in partnership with the Training Institute on Strangulation Prevention.

This course is recommended for Law Enforcement, Crown, Criminal and Family Lawyers, Victim Advocates, MCFD Social Workers and Medical Providers who want to improve their response to non-fatal strangulation cases. This training includes best practices for investigation, documentation, prosecution and advocacy of non-fatal strangulation cases.
