YOU CAN DONATE NOW TO THE WIND ENSEMBLE FUND

Help music students thrive!

The music program is not like other programs, and the effervescent atmosphere of the arts scene in Canada’s capital means that several unique learning opportunities arise every year. However, such opportunities often generate unexpected costs for the School of Music and students at uOttawa.

The goal of the Wind Ensemble Fund is to eliminate financial barriers that prevent students from making the most of learning opportunities that arise during the academic year.

Whether you donate $5, $20, $50, $100 or more, your contribution will be dedicated to supporting the Wind Ensemble and its activities. This could include the purchase of new materials and scores, travel support for performances of the Ensemble in local schools, or to defray costs related to masterclasses by invited professors.

What you receive in return:

As soon as you send us your donation, you will receive an official receipt by email. In addition, if you wish, your name will be added to our list of patrons, which will appear on our concert programs for the duration of the following academic year.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

We wanted to let you know that work will be done in front of Tabaret Hall in the coming days.

For easy access to our meeting location, we recommend that you take the route leading to this address: 75 Laurier Avenue East, facing Hamelin Hall. Once you’re on site, you just have to enter the building and continue straight to the reception area (Huguette Labelle Hall), where our event will take place.

Follow the signage. We ask for your patience and understanding during the work. Please note that to reach Huguette Labelle Hall, you must go up several steps. Those with reduced mobility or who can’t take the stairs can use the access ramp located at the same entrance below, which leads to an elevator. If you have special needs or questions regarding accessibility, feel free to contact us at music@uottawa.ca.
