Guitarist and composer Sylvain Cossette and his quintet are touring Canada to promote the group’s latest recording, Second Cycle. Each of the album’s nine compositions evoke either a state of mind, a season, or a very precise emotion felt in a certain situation or event. Sylvain’s quintet features some of Quebec’s finest musicians: Alexandre Côté (alto sax), Bruno Lamarche (tenor sax), Sébastien Pellerin (bass), and Alain Bourgeois (drums).
