Tarah Schwartz: Communications and Media Expert (Emcee for the day)
Tarah Schwartz spent more than two decades as a reporter and news anchor for CTV Television. She has won four Canadian journalism awards. In addition, Tarah spent three years hosting a health-focused radio show on CJAD 800, where she interviewed doctors, scientists and researchers about the future of medicine. She has been named a woman of influence by Na’amat Canada and built a second career as an expert communications and media trainer. Her first book, a memoir titled Can’t Help Falling, a Long Road to Motherhood, was published in April 2022. It was named a notable Mother’s Day pick by the Globe and Mail.

Dr. Vivien Brown: MDCM, CCFP, FCFP, MSCP, Physician and Author (Keynote Speaker)
Dr. Brown is a family physician and author in Toronto. Educated at McGill University, she currently is appointed to the Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of Toronto, holding the rank of Assistant Professor. An award winner for teaching on many levels, her major interests are in the area of health promotion and prevention for women, and continuing medical education, Adult Immunization and Vaccine Preventable Illness. The College of Family Physicians of Ontario named Dr Brown “Physician of the Year for the Region of Toronto”, awarded November 2012, Canada.

Rose Reisman: Nutritionist, Author, and Influencer
Rose is an award-winning entrepreneur, caterer, author and media personality. As a registered nutritional consultant and certified personal trainer armed with an MBA, Rose has taken her passion for healthy living and developed it into a multi-faceted enterprise, making her one of Canada’s leading authorities on the art of eating and living well. With decades of industry experience, countless media appearances and over 22 cookbooks to her name, Rose is affectionately known as Canada's Cookbook Queen. Recently named Now Magazine's Best Nutritionist in their Reader's Choice Edition, Rose continues to share her vast knowledge of the nutritional landscape to new audiences through her Instagram and Tik Tok channels.

Dr. Barry Goldlist: Department of Medicine, Mount Sinai Hospital
Dr. Goldlist is a Professor of Medicine (Geriatrics) at the University of Toronto, and a staff physician in the Department of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and the University Health Network. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, the American College of Physicians, the American Geriatrics Society and the Canadian Geriatrics Society. He has served as head of the Royal College’s specialty committee in geriatrics, and its exam committee. He has received numerous awards, including the distinguished service award of the Canadian Geriatrics Society (of which he is a former president), has been the founding editor-in-chief of two journals and has over 150 publications of various types.

Dr. Jack Muskat: Ph.D. Applied Psychology and Registered Psychologist
Dr Jack Muskat is a psychologist, executive coach, speaker, author, and former Clinical Director of Psychology at Medcan. Dr. Muskat received his Ph.D. in Applied Psychology from the University of Toronto and is a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. His clinical practice focuses on issues relating stress, anxiety, and depression, as well as interpersonal relationships.

Orli Ziv: Senior Meditation and Yoga Teacher at the PJCC
Orli Ziv, senior meditation and yoga teacher at the PJCC and SRC with over 35 years of experience. Specialized in a soothing meditation session designed to bring peace and calm to the mind and body. Orli specializes in working with individuals who have faced trauma, chronic illness, disability, and neurodiversity, creating a compassionate space where everyone can benefit.

Maayan Ziv: A disability advocate and entrepreneur (Keynote Speaker)
Maayan is an accomplished entrepreneur, acclaimed photographer, and passionate disability activist. She is the founder and CEO of AccessNow, an award-winning tech company that has revolutionized how people share and access information about accessibility on a global scale. Under her leadership, AccessNow has become a driving force for change, influencing industries ranging from technology and infrastructure to public policy and media by highlighting the importance of accessibility. As chair of the Accessible Travel Journey Technical Committee for Accessibility Standards Canada, Maayan plays a key role in shaping national accessibility standards on transit and travel.
In recognition of her contributions, Maayan was awarded the Meritorious Service Cross (MSC) by the Governor General of Canada.
