What is QiGong breathing?

QiGong breathing helps to invigorate the body and improve circulation. The QiBelly QiGong Page ( https://www.qibelly.com/qigong ) can give you more insight into QiGong as a whole.

What is QiGong Self-Massage and why is it important?

QiGong self-massage is a method of opening up meridian channels through gently applying pressure to specific areas of the body. These techniques help to improve the flow of Qi and overall circulation throughout the body. The idea is open the channels to help create better vitality, alertness.

Will I lose access to the Newbie Special if I buy a ticket on Eventbrite?

All newcomers get access to the QiBelly Newbie Special, Ultimate Pass and 30-day Pass for entirety of the first day of the event with the amount of the Eventbrite ticket deducted from the Pass's cost.

What is Kung Fu and how does it related to Tai Chi?

The advanced aspect of Tai Chi is considered to be Kung Fu. Explosive and vibrant, this level of the training is quite demanding. Er Lu (Second Road) Tai Chi Forms are more martial based with an emphasis on the transitioning between “hard and soft” applications. This is NOT apart of this class.

Organized by

I created QiBelly to make the information I received overseas more accessible. I offer training, treatments and (apprenticeship/teaching) certificates in Zen Meditation, Reiki, QiGong and Tai Chi. I had the opportunity to travel the world and learn so much. Not many are so fortunate. My aim is to help others gain the same access I had to the teachings.

QiBelly has always been about improving our quality of life through building stronger relationships with one another. This is why I have continued to teach the way I do. Not opting for gimmicks, I’ve committed myself to teaching the way I was taught. Old school, formal apprenticeship programs, adapted to meet the student's individual needs.

Over the last two years, QiBelly has started to offer separate ‘Family-Style’ communities for serious students. Currently, we have one for Tai Chi Family and the other for Reiki. Both of these communities hold authentic lineages tracing back to Beijing and Kyoto. It has been a beautiful experience that gave many people support during the pandemic and continues to foster positive relationships within and without the classroom environment.
