Welcome to Talk Trauma 2025!

Date: April 2nd and 3rd, 2025

Themes: "Extreme Measures" for paediatric day and "Disaster Strikes" for adult day

Join us for our paediatric trauma day on April 2nd, followed by the adult trauma day on April 3rd. Our lineup of exceptional speakers will delve into present-day topics including acute care of trauma patients, rural trauma, disaster preparedness, and the lived trauma experience.

In line with the global focus on climate change, we are excited to announce that the Talk Trauma conference has gone green and will be using the Eventmobi App. Our committee is dedicated to reducing paper waste associated with conference preparation and administration.

Frequently asked questions

If I am unable to attend, am I able to assign my ticket to someone else?

Yes, we are able to assign the ticket to another person however you will need to contact trauma@lhsc.on.ca

What if I have food allergies?

The Hellenic Community Centre prepares various dishes that contain allergens or ingredients that individuals may be allergic to. We recommend that attendees with severe allergies or dietary restrictions take necessary precautions. Ensure to fill out food allergies section with your registration.

In error, I signed up for one day instead of both days, am I able to still get the two day discount?

Yes, of course. You will need to contact trauma@lhsc.on.ca and we can look after that for you.

Is there a special rate for students?

Unfortunately, we are not offering a student discount at this time.

Can I get CME credits for attending the conference?

Not at this time. We areable to send you a certificate of attendance upon request stating the number of hours of continuing education completed by contacting trauma@lhsc.on.ca after the conference.

Do I need to print a paper copy of my ticket for entry to the conference?

No, but you should have your e-ticket that is e-mailed to you upon registration handy just in case.

London Health Sciences Centre’s Trauma Program annually hosts “Talk Trauma”, a conference for physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and emergency medical services professionals involved in providing care for trauma patients. The conference brings over 300 professionals from the region together to share their expertise, discuss emerging trends, and learn new approaches to improve the care of trauma patients across the region.

 

The Program also hosts regular Stop the Bleed® courses to train bystanders on the basics of controlling life-threatening bleeding.
