About this event
Taste of the Atlantic New Year's Eve Edition hosted by ITANB
Join us this New Year's Eve for a truly unforgettable experience, where luxury meets Indigenous excellence, and every moment is crafted to inspire. Indulge in a high-end, world-class dining experience unlike anything you have ever witnessed before. Imagine ringing in the new year enveloped in the rich traditions, flavors, and artistry of Indigenous culture. Our exclusive event will host an intimate setting on the beautiful waterfront of Saint John, New Brunswick. The Atlantic Wabanaki Territory’s most distinguished Indigenous chefs, led by award-winning Chef Shane Chartrand, will present a five-course menu designed to dazzle your senses and leave you breathless. Each dish is a masterpiece crafted to honor the bounty of the land and the ancestral stewardship passed down through generations. This will be more than just a meal; it will be a way to immerse yourself in a cultural experience. Throughout the evening, be captivated by the beauty of Indigenous arts, song, storytelling, laughter, ceremony, and language—each element woven together to create a tapestry of tradition, resilience, and celebration.
After our New Year’s Eve festivities, join us on New Year’s Day to cook bannock over the fire, savor a bowl of delectable soup and enjoy an interactive cultural experience. This New Year's Day event, free to attend, promises to be a day of reflection, connection, and celebration as we come together to welcome the new year.
