The Body is Home Panel Event

Join us for a mixer-inspired evening of art and conversation as we discuss the initiative's first project. We invite guests to reflect on and understand what it means to be at home in our bodies as we consider questions and themes related to movement, sport, and community through photos and narratives that capture the experiences of Black women runners and members of Hill Studio Run Club in the summer of 2024. Four panellists will join Asha Edwin and Dr. Janelle Joseph to discuss the project's impact.

Organized by

The Body is Home explores what it means to be at home in our bodies from the perspetive of women and girls. This initiative invites us to examine how we challenge, define, and affirm our individual and collective identities while reimagining healing, health, and wellness through community and movement. Through our events and workshops, we encourage guests to engage in conversations and activities that help us reflect on and understand what it means to be at home in our bodies.
