About the Artist:
Deb Chaney works as a contemporary abstract artist and teacher. She is inspired by the question; how can we live in the frequency of our well-being? The process of creating her mixed media multilayered paintings is a healing act and part of her journey back to her authentic self. Her work appears in corporate and private collections worldwide, galleries, public art, TV, and film. Recently, Deb completed a large-scale public art installation in North Vancouver, in collaboration with Adera Development and Viuva Lamego of Portugal. She has been named twice in the Vancouver media as one of the top 10 artists to watch and has been featured in many publications, including The Georgia Strait, The Vancouver Sun, Vancouver is Awesome, What Women Create Magazine and Style at Home Magazine. She believes we are all creators and that consciously being in the creative process is a healing act. www.debchaney.com
