Mindbuffs and the Edmonton Short Film Festival are partnering up to give local filmmakers an amazing opportunity to learn more about how to increase their creative potential on and off sets. At Mindbuffs, we understand that the creative process can be as demanding as it is rewarding. That's why we offer specialized psychology services specifically crafted for creatives across all disciplines, including musicians, artists, dancers, and actors. We're here to help you harness your full artistic potential, empowering you to maintain creativity under pressure and thrive in competitive and demanding artistic fields. Mindbuffs is offering a 3 part webinar series focusing on some of the common challenges in the filmmaking industry and giving practical tools to overcome them.

In this webinar we will cover the different leadership styles and communication strategies. We know being a leader (and even a follower) can be hard. Same with communicating effectively with others in the cast and crew. We understand that as tension rises on set, communication decreases and emotions get more intense; which can happen within seconds and delay production. This webinar will focus on understanding what type of leader you are, how each type of leadership style communicates, and learning about how you can build a values-based foundation with everyone around you. You will come away with concrete ideas to help you best communicate on set with others, manage conflicts effectively, understand the importance of values, and keep things running smoothly and successfully on and off set.
