When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving no later than 15 minutes prior to showtime to give you plenty of time to get checked in, grab a beverage, and get the seats you want!  And West Village Theatre can be a bit tricky to find if you've never been there, so it's best to give yourself ample time to find the place!

How do I find this place?

Accepted Answer

West Village Theatre is located at 2007 10 Ave SW.  Our lobby entrance is in the alley between 10th and 11th avenue - look for the blue awning with West Village Theatre on the front.  WVT is located a few blocks from the Sunalta C-Train station and several bus routes.

Question 3

Where can I park?

Accepted Answer

There is FREE parking directly in front of West Village Theatre, as well as on the west side of the complex.  There is also free street parking on 19th street and on 11th ave.  Please avoid parking in the apartment parking lot across from the theatre.

Question 4

If my child is younger than the recommended age, can I still bring them?

Accepted Answer

Of course! We recognize that every child is different and may have different sensitivities to different materials.  You know your child best, so if you think they can handle it, we will trust your parental discretion!

Question 5

Is there a concession?

Accepted Answer

Oh you bet there is. At our concession we sell a wide variety of beverages and snacks.  We accept debit, credit, and cash.

Question 6

What happens if I arrive late?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we can get you into the show if you arrive late.  Bringing latecomers into live theatre can be disruptive for the other guests, and the young performers, so we ask that you arrive early to make sure you're sitting comfortably in your seat when the show starts!

Do I need to print my ticket?

Accepted Answer

Nope!  When you arrive, simply check in at the box office where will we have a list of every ticket buyer, and we will check you in.

Question 8

Is the theatre wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

The answer is yes, sort of.  We ask that patrons with mobility needs contact us before attending so we can ensure there is a space for you and/or your wheelchair on the ground row.  Our washrooms are tight, and we are happy to discuss more with you about how to make your attendance comfortable.
