About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

Embark on an inspiring journey of passion, purpose, and entrepreneurship at our first Alumni Talks event in 2025: The Journey of Entrepreneurship. This evening features two remarkable alumni who have turned their dreams into businesses!

Agustin Cahiza MBA’22, co-founder of Patagonia FC Vancouver, will share his story of building community through soccer. Hailing from Argentina, Agustin’s love for the sport led him to establish this nonprofit organization in 2022 alongside fellow UCW alumni, Nahuel Galeano MBA’22. Agustin will share his story of balancing a full-time job while building a nonprofit, offering valuable insights into community building, perseverance, and the power of collaboration.

Our second speaker, Anu Davaasuren MBA’23, is the creative force behind Bettinka, a Vancouver-based brand rooted in her Reiki energy healing practice and love for minimalist beauty. With a background in healing, singing, and graphic design, she handcrafts soy candles, essential oil roll-ons, soaps, and other natural products that reflect her deep connection to nature and well-being. Named after her mother, Bettinka is a tribute to the love, strength, and inspiration that have shaped Anu’s journey.

Set in the warm and inviting atmosphere of Earls in Yaletown, this event is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow alumni, gain practical insights, and be inspired by two unique entrepreneurial journeys.
