The Kitchen: 45 Minute Cast Iron Bannock with Chef Holly Holt

Watch Chef Holly demonstrate how to prepare Bannock in a cast iron skillet using her ‘flip-over’ method for a crispy and fluffy finish. You will also assist in preparing a beautiful assortment of accompaniments using local products and ingredients. While tasting and drinking tea, we will discuss the history of Bannock from an Indigenous perspective and go home with Chef Holly’s list of book recommendations by Indigenous Authors.

Class size is limited to 24 participants.

• Each person attending will require their own ticket.

• Children 12 - 18 years old with a ticket are permitted to attend with a parent or guardian.
