About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

Join us for a day hike at Echo Lake Provincial Park! As we will be in the provincial park, a park pass for each vehicle will be necessary for the day hike!

Our trail we will be completing is Jack Rabbit Trail via Ski Trail - https://www.alltrails.com/trail/canada/saskatchewan/jack-rabbit-trail-via-ski-trail

This is a 6.8 KM trail through the cross county ski trails. It does sound like these trails do get mowed during the summer, but it is still good to prepare for some longer grass and possible deadfall. We will all hike at a leisurely pace so that we stick together as a group, taking breaks when needed.

    Things to bring:
Comfortable hiking clothes, layers, and comfortable hiking shoes or runners

Water and Snacks - preferably approximately 2 Litres of water

    Sunscreen and Bug Spray

    Hat/Sunglasses

    Small First Aid Kit

    Provincial Park Pass for Vehicle
