Learn to crochet a poppy in this free workshop dedicated to creating beautiful poppies for a display to honour veterans past and present.

In this workshop you will learn to do basic crochet stitches and all materials and instruction will be provided. Although this is a free workshop, we do ask that you book a timeslot so that there are enough instructors to participants. Thank you and we hope you enjoy the workshop!

The MoD Poppy Project encourages people to to crochet (or knit) poppies and to submit them to be included in an art installations that will be displayed in November 2025. You may also like to submit poppies made at home - the museum will be accepting poppies until August 2025.
