The Rooted Malli: Artworks by Anjoonie Art

Join us for an evening of art and culture as we unveil "The Rooted Malli", an art exhibit that celebrates Tamil heritage and explores themes of identity, resilience, and cultural legacy. Presented by Anjoonie Art, this event is part of the celebration of Tamil Heritage Month in January and is a tribute to the beauty of tradition and the journey of self-expression.

About the Exhibit

"The Rooted Malli" takes inspiration from the Tamil word malli, meaning jasmine flower. The jasmine flower symbolizes purity, elegance, and strength, much like the essence of the Tamil heritage it represents. This exhibit showcases a collection of original artworks that delve into Tamil culture, highlighting the resilience and stories of a community balancing tradition with modernity.
